July 27, 2002:
DSCR held its 3rd annual Summer BBQ event @ Bruce's Mill. The
weather was perfect. Good food, good sports, a show and
shine event, and of course just hanging out. Everyone
had a great time! About 30 cars showed with some 45
participants. A big thanks goes out to Jngrbrdman and his wife
for making the trip up all the way from Utah to be with us and
of course for his impeccable "Klasse"! Afterwards we took in
Austin Powers: Goldmember at the drive-in! Thanks to VWADDICT,
ZR750Joe, KurtMP3, Slugger for helping to organize and run the
event!
July 20, 2002:
DSCR
went on its second country drive. 2 legs on the trip and some
400 km of countryside. Thanks to Fastdak and ZR750Joe for
organizing and running the event! 8 cars and a dozen people had
a nice, enjoyable day!
JUNE
2002
June 8 , 2002:
DSCR
went on its first country drive. 460 km of winding roads and
lovely countryside to enjoy. 12 cars and about 20 people
made it out. Thanks to Fastdak R/T, Moondogz, and ZR750Joe for
organizing and running the event!
MAY
2002
May 11, 2002:
DSCR's
season opening BBQ/Picnic was held at Centennial Park.
About 25 cars and some 35 people came out for some good food and
prizes. Thanks to Silent Sam for organizing and running
the event.
